Luna Rosa has grown to become one of the largest Event planning companies in the UK.

History - Then....

Twelve years ago I graduated in Italian and German from The University of Birmingham. I knew that more than anything I wanted to work in Italy, incorporating my love for the Italian language, architecture, art and music. At 21 not really knowing what to expect, I ventured out into Italy and started to look for the best villas in stunning locations. In depth research led me to the finest properties. Driving around Italy was invaluable to gain confidence, a knowledge of the regions and most importantly meeting people and making the right contacts. Little did I know at that time, this was to become so important for planning bespoke weddings in the future.

Sharing villa `finds’ with friends soon grew into a small, personalised business offering exceptional country houses in unrivalled settings. Villas were presented in beautifully designed Discovery Travel brochures. Properties were featured in The Times, Home and Gardens, The Independent and The Telegraph.

Our reputation was established through satisfied clients who returned each year and recommended us to friends and family. Then one day we were asked if we could organise a wedding for some clients. I wanted to create the wedding of their dreams, a unique celebration, incorporating high end design with elegant wedding decor.

With a background in Event Design, my sister Aimee joined the team to launch Luna Rosa weddings. I think it was our mother Glyn's energetic creativity that encouraged us to develop a unique sense of style and my father's entrepreneurship that gave me the can-do attitude that is vital to coordinating outstanding events.

After graduating from Bournemouth University Aimee began her career in events in London. Aimee has organised a variety of events, brand launches and music events and festivals with artists including Robbie Williams, Kelly Rowland and private celebrity parties.

Aimee's inspirational, creative wedding ideas coupled with 10 years experience in event planning allow her to confidently manage boutique weddings in Italy.

Luna rosa has dedicated planners working on each celebration. Angelo and Marco joined the team and share the same passion and vision in creating breathtakingly beautiful events.

And - Now...

Four years on, Luna Rosa have arranged weddings and celebrations for over 50 couples across Puglia, Tuscany and Sicily. Your wedding day is the most important day of your life and we work personally with you to create your unique celebration.
