Wedding in Tuscany

Whether you choose a religious or civil ceremony, the team at Luna Rosa has selected some of the most picturesque ‘comune’ (town halls), ‘palazzi’ (grand houses) and splendid churches for your special day.

Picture your wedding day starting with an intimate ceremony at the ‘comune’ (town hall) on the main piazza before you and your guests return to Villa Magna, a beautiful, privately-owned 17th century villa close to Loro Ciuffena. An ‘aperitivo’ is served on the lawns and terrace under the shade of large oak trees with spectacular views of the Arno Valley and the hills of Chianti in the distance. The tables with pristine white damask tablecloths are garlanded with roses and delicious platters of appetising ‘antipasti’ hams, cheeses, olives and asparagus.

Arezzo is another very special setting for the big day with a magnificent ‘comune’ in the town centre, close to the ‘duomo’ (cathedral) and a Roman amphitheatre. Alternatively, you might prefer a traditional Tuscan hill top town such as Angiari with its characteristic winding streets.
